CardVault ("we", "the app") helps you track and value your trading card collection.
This policy explains what we collect and why. We collect as little as possible.
What we collect
Your collection data — the cards you add, condition, and notes. Stored on your device and, if you sign in, backed up to our cloud so you can sync across devices.
Account identifier — if you choose Sign in with Apple, we receive an opaque Apple user identifier and (optionally) your email. We never receive your Apple password.
Device push token — only if you enable price alerts, so we can notify you when a card hits your target.
Diagnostics & usage — aggregate, non-identifying crash and usage data to improve the app.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
How we use it
To show your collection and its current market value.
To sync your collection across your devices (when signed in).
To send the price alerts you create.
To diagnose crashes and improve the product.
Pricing data
Market prices are aggregated from public sources and stored on our servers. The app
only reads prices from us; it never sends your collection to those third-party sources.
Data retention & deletion
Your collection is yours. You can delete any card in the app, sign out at any time, or
request full deletion of your cloud data by emailing
support@cardvault.app. Deleting the app removes all local data.
Children
CardVault is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal
data from them.
